| Posted: 11 Aug 2015 09:48 AM PDT This guy is just plain stupid. The credit card processing industry is one of the hardest call center jobs in the world. It is also super competitive. His giving 70 grand to every employee sent out all the wrong messages. If I was going to use a credit card processing company, the last one I would consider is one that can afford to pay that kind of minimum wage. His own brother is suing him for squandering the seed money he invested and rightfully so. It is one thing to make money by making your client MORE money, but this is simply a service and his customers should be red-faced over paying out too much money for the service. One thing the media doesn't address, is the pathetic feeling the salespeople must have got when they found out the people doing the easy work were getting paid far more than they deserve, which rightfully belonged in the pockets of those who generated the sales. Then you have the problem of how to "money-motivate" those who would bust their ass to make enough sales to get 70 grand.
